Bert's Zwift Group Ride Series!

Join us for a 12-Week series of virtual riding on Zwift! Don't let the shorter, colder, windier days deter you from riding your bike! You can bring it inside and still ride with friends!
We know Fall and Winter are tough seasons in the Northeast, but you can still have fun and get a great workout on your bike at the same time from the comfort of your home!

If you're interested in trying this out but don't have a trainer or sensors yet, stop in to any one of our 8 Buffalo, Rochester and Northwestern Pennsylvania locations! We have lots in stock and many are even on sale! This is a great way to keep yourself spinning over the Winter and into the New Year!

The equipment you will need to participate:
-A bike that is compatible with your trainer
smart trainer or a trainer with at least a speed and cadence sensor
-A membership to
Zwift (
-The Zwift and Zwift Companion Apps - Click here on the map below to find out how to download the Companion App.
-Follow Bert’s Bikes & Fitness on Zwift Companion App
-Keep Monday evenings open from 7pm-8pm to ride

For Week 4: We will head over to Watopia for a scheduled 60 minutes. Sand & Sequoia is an endurance cyclist's favorite with relatively low elevation and some rolling hills in between! You are able to join up to 30 minutes after the starting time (as long as you accept the meet up request before the start of the ride) and still stay with the group. All you have to do is follow us on Zwift Companion, accept our Meet Up invite, select a route in Zwift, and then you’ll be automatically added to our group ride! There is a chat function in Zwift companion, so chatting with you fellow riders helps make the time go by!

We will raffle a $25 gift card to Bert's to one of our lucky participants. You can also enter to win a $100 Bert’s Gift Card at the end of the series. Each ride you attend gives you one entry. The lucky winner will be announced the first week of February! Join us and bring a friend—or 10!

These are no drop rides with modest elevation gain. We will be tethered together, so it doesn't matter how fast or slow you pedal. You can ride for however long you'd like, even if you're not ready for a whole hour. We are here to encourage your ride at your pace! We hope to see you there!
